Gary Womack is senior director for design and development at Noble Investment Group. He will oversee development, repositioning and renovation across Noble’s portfolio, adding execution capacity during a period of capital deployment.

He has hospitality development experience, including ground-up development and repositioning projects delivered for institutional owners nationwide, Noble said in a statement. He maintains working relationships with major brands that anchor Noble’s platform.

“Gary brings a strong track record of executing complex hospitality developments and a deep familiarity with our platform,” said Kevin Grass, Noble managing principal and head of design and development. “His experience will reinforce the rigor and discipline that define Noble’s approach.”

He previously served on Noble’s design and development team. His return supports the firm’s active investment pipeline. Noble, based in Atlanta, is led by CEO Mit Shah.

In April, Noble acquired a 10-property portfolio of select-service and extended-stay hotels. The portfolio includes Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide Holdings, and IHG Hotels & Resorts properties across the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, Southeast and Northeast.

It also appointed Brandon Alexander director of tax, responsible for state and local income tax strategy and compliance across its real estate portfolio.
