The property is also the first in Jagdalpur to operate under a national hospitality brand, Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd. said in a statement. The region includes Chitrakote and Tirathgarh Falls, the forests and limestone caves of Kanger Valley, weekly tribal haats, Dhokra crafts and local food traditions. Jagdalpur Airport offers direct flights to Hyderabad and Raipur, providing air links to major cities.
The resort spans about 3.21 acres. It offers five room categories, including garden-facing rooms, suites and a private pool villa. Facilities include an indoor pool, spa, recreation areas, lawns and banquet spaces for holidays, events and groups.
“Bastar is a destination waiting to be discovered,” said Vikram Lalvani, Sterling managing director and CEO. “The area is known for its waterfalls, forests, caves, crafts and cuisine. Our aim is to make it easier for travellers to experience the destination.”
Jayesh Sangani and Rachit Sangani, Dishi Resort owners said, Bastar has strong tourism potential, with natural landscapes and cultural heritage.
“Our partnership combines local knowledge with Sterling’s hospitality and distribution network to support travel to Jagdalpur and the wider Bastar region,” said Jayesh and Rachit.
In February, Sterling opened the 23-key Sterling Valley of Pine in Lansdowne, Uttarakhand.
