The hotel is on the Udaipur-Nathdwara Highway, with access to Nathdwara and attractions including City Palace, Eklingji, Delwara and Haldighati. It also offers access to Maharana Pratap Airport and Udaipur Railway Station.
The hotel offers workspaces, a restaurant and a fitness center. It will cater to both business and leisure travelers, Marriott said in statement.
“India represents an important growth market for Marriott International and the debut of City Express further broadens the range of travel experiences we offer in the country,” said Cristiano Rinaldi, Marriott’s chief lodging product and services officer for Asia Pacific excluding China.
Abhishek Jha, general manager of City Express by Marriott Udaipur, said the hotel introduces the brand in India, with a focus on quality, comfort and hospitality and marks its entry in Udaipur.
Separately, Accor signed an agreement for its first Pullman hotel in Udaipur.
