Nemesia Hotels & Resorts opened the 40-key Nemesia Resort & Spa in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India, a luxury property set in the Himalayan foothills. The resort marks the brand's expansion into the destination resort segment.
The resort offers rooms and suites across four categories: Terra, Astra, Aqua and the Luma Suite, Nemesia said in a statement. It includes two restaurants, a bar, a swimming pool and a spa. Nearby activities include river rafting and hiking, while spiritual attractions include Devprayag, Vashisth Cave and Neelkanth Mahadev Temple. The resort caters to leisure travelers, families and guests visiting the destination.
Rishikesh, in the Himalayan foothills along the Ganges, is known for its spiritual heritage, adventure tourism and yoga, the statement said. It attracts domestic and international leisure and wellness travelers year-round.
"The launch of Nemesia Resort & Spa, Rishikesh marks an important milestone in our journey of building a hospitality brand centred around meaningful guest experiences,” said Manish Kumar Singh, Nemesia director. “Rishikesh perfectly reflects what Nemesia stands for, authenticity, nature, thoughtful hospitality and memorable experiences.”
Nemesia is a privately held hospitality firm based in Gurugram and operates the Nemesia City Centre Hotel in the city.
Separately, Dusit International and Atmosphere will develop a 30-key Dusit Princess Rishikesh in Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, with the hotel expected to open in 2031.
