The property is the first of several boutique properties the company plans to open across India, Zari said in a statement. The property includes private accommodations, personalized service and nature-based experiences. It is designed around Jawai's landscape, wildlife and cultural heritage.
The lodge offers private leopard safaris led by naturalists, along with activities such as guided village walks, birdwatching, boat excursions and yoga sessions. It also serves cuisine based on Rajasthan’s culinary traditions.
"Zari was created with a simple belief, that true luxury is deeply personal. It is found in meaningful experiences, genuine hospitality, and a strong sense of place,” Zari’s management said. “Bijapur Lodge reflects this philosophy by offering guests an intimate connection with Jawai's wildlife, culture, and traditions.”
Separately, ITC Hotels Ltd. signed a management agreement for a 145-key Welcomhotel property in Salasar, Rajasthan.
