BWH HOTELS LAUNCHED a worldwide sales division to drive corporate business across its upscale and luxury hotels. The branch went live June 1 following an internal rollout in May.

The new structure was created to capture growing demand as the global business travel market approaches $2 trillion, driven in part by blended business and leisure travel, BWH said in a statement. It streamlines engagement for corporate travel buyers and connects hotel owners with business opportunities in key markets.

“The launch of this premium sales division marks a defining moment in our long-term growth vision, strengthening competitiveness in the corporate arena and reinforcing our evolution into a multisegment global hospitality enterprise,” said Chad Fletcher, BWH Hotels’ senior vice president for worldwide sales. “With the ongoing boom of bleisure travel, corporate demand continues to create immense opportunities for expansion in the upscale market. This structure allows us to capitalize on that momentum, deepening relationships with key procurement leaders and delivering profitable, high-quality business for our hoteliers.”

The division is focused on BWH’s’ WorldHotels and Best Western Hotels & Resorts portfolio and is led by nine sales executives covering the U.S., Canada and Europe, the statement said. Working with travel industry relations and agency teams, they will secure corporate agreements across sectors including consulting, finance, entertainment, fashion, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and engineering, and help corporate buyers book upscale and luxury properties through their travel programs.

The BWH portfolio includes several U.S. properties, including Aiden Kansas City Downtown, Caribe Royale Orlando, Eden Roc Miami Beach, Eden Resort & Suites in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, The Loren Hotel Austin, and The Whitehall Hotel in Chicago.

In April, WorldHotels launched WorldHotels Backdrop, a collection of glamping tents and cabins in mountain, coastal and national park destinations. The brand gives owners and developers of outdoor and adventure properties a pathway into the BWH Hotels portfolio.
