THIND MANAGEMENT WILL open the 92-room Staybridge Suites Spring – The Woodlands Area in Spring, Texas, in late September. The company rebuilt an existing property as an extended-stay hotel.
The hotel is near The Woodlands, City Place and Old Town Spring, Thind said in a statement. Nearby employers include ExxonMobil, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Chevron Phillips Chemical, Expand Energy, Huntsman and ABS Group. Old Town Spring also has more than 100 independent businesses, including boutiques, galleries and restaurants.
The hotel has new interiors, furnishings and kitchenettes, the statement said. It will offer studios and one- and two-bedroom suites for corporate relocations, training programs, temporary assignments, project teams and other extended-stay business travel.
Amenities will include an outdoor pool, pickleball and basketball courts, barbecue facilities, breakfast and free parking. The hotel also will offer Staybridge Suites' evening social program on select nights.
Thind Management, led by CEO Surinder Singh and President Surpreet Singh, developed the hotel, oversaw its design and construction and will operate it.
"Our team has been deeply involved in this property's transformation from the ground up," Surpreet Singh said. "Over the years, we have developed, repositioned and operated a variety of hospitality projects throughout the Houston area."
Kevin Viteri, Thind Management's vice president of hospitality operations, said the hotel is designed for guests staying more than a night or two.
Thind Management is a family-owned hospitality company with operations in North Houston, The Woodlands and City Place. Its leadership team has expertise in hotel development, operations, revenue management, sales, finance, and food and beverage.
It recently named Kevin Viteri vice president of hospitality operations.
