- The Hospitality Show returns in 2028.
- Dates fit industry planning, purchasing cycles.
- Focus is on operations, revenue and technology.
The spring timing better fits the industry’s planning and purchasing cycles. The change follows feedback from the hospitality community, American Hotel & Lodging Association said.
“As we listened to our customers and the broader hospitality community, we saw an opportunity to place The Hospitality Show at a more valuable point in the industry calendar,” said Alex Khajavi, president of Forge’s Hospitality Group. “Returning to Las Vegas in the spring brings us back to where the show began and gives our community an ideal time and place to do business, discover solutions and build relationships.”
Rosanna Maietta, AHLA president and CEO, said the show connects hotel owners and operators with peers, insights and tools to improve their businesses.
“Moving the event to spring 2028 creates an opportunity to engage our industry at a highly relevant point in the business cycle,” Maietta said.
Forge and AHLA are planning new exhibit space, sessions, networking events and partnership opportunities, the statement said. The show will cover ways to improve hotel operations, revenue, technology, staffing and guest service.
AHLA recognized eight hotel general managers with its 2026 General Manager of the Year awards at The Hospitality Show in Miami Beach, Florida.
