PRISM, THE PARENT of OYO, reported higher revenue and profit in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. Bookings also increased across its hotel and vacation home businesses.

A 35 percent rise in revenue and a 17 percent increase in profit marked the first quarter, PTI reported. Ritesh Agarwal, founder of PRISM, discussed the company’s performance and investments at its extraordinary general meeting in early October.

Revenue from operations reached $297.51 million in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, up from $219.7 million a year earlier. Profit after tax increased to $37.32 million, compared with $31.82 million in the same quarter last year. The profit included a deferred tax credit of about $25.8 million.

Bookings grew across both business segments, lifting gross booking value by 30 percent to nearly $1.01 billion. Hotel bookings increased 30 percent from a year earlier, while vacation home bookings rose 28 percent. EBITDA also grew 24 percent to $80.35 million, from $64.6 million.

“This momentum has continued into the first quarter of fiscal year 2027,” said Agarwal. “Our hotels and vacation homes businesses reported higher gross margins and operating earnings as we continued to invest in our brands and customer demand.”

Agarwal said the company was benefiting from past investments in technology, brands and distribution while continuing to invest heavily.

PRISM’s central technology platform supports pricing, bookings, customer service and property management across markets, with India serving as a key technology and operating hub. The company is also using AI to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency and decision-making.

North America also remains an important market for PRISM following its acquisition of G6 Hospitality.

“It contributed about $1.48 billion in GBV during fiscal year 2026,” Agarwal said.

PRISM recently cut its planned IPO size to $354.65 million after repeated delays.
