- The World Surat rated five stars.
- Hindva developed the hotel.
- It is managed by Royal Orchid.
THE WORLD SURAT received a five-star rating from India’s Ministry of Tourism. The hotel is among the few properties in Gujarat to receive the classification.
The property, developed by Hindva Group and managed by Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd., offers accommodation, dining, convention and banquet facilities, business spaces and lifestyle amenities. The hotel met the government’s standards for hospitality, service and operations soon after opening, Hindva said in a statement.
“The five star classification is more than a milestone for The World Surat; it reflects Surat’s established position as a global business and hospitality destination,” said Keyur Kheni, Hindva founder and custodian. “Our vision has always been to create world-class infrastructure that complements the city’s growth and future aspirations.”
The ministry assesses infrastructure, engineering systems, guest facilities, service, food and beverage operations, safety, sustainability, accessibility and technology, the statement said. It also requires verification of more than 30 licenses, statutory approvals and supporting documents.
The World Surat was designed as an integrated hospitality development. It includes rooms, dining, convention and banquet facilities, business spaces, lifestyle amenities and a data storage center with IT-enabled services.
The hotel also hosts Nav Avsar, a Navratri event presented by Hindva, the statement said. The 2026 edition will be curated by Soul Sutra, founded by Parthiv Gohil and Manasi Parekh.
The development is part of Hindva Group’s broader business interests. Its portfolio includes HeartSheai Fintech Innovation Ltd., an asset management company based in GIFT City, Gujarat.
The hotel said the five star rating reflects Surat’s growth and role in business, investment and tourism. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail corridor is expected to improve Surat’s connectivity with major commercial centers. Travel times to Mumbai and Ahmedabad are projected to fall to about an hour once the service begins.
