The Clara Hotel, formerly the NYLO Hotel, is now open in Plano, Texas. The 176-room property, owned by NewcrestImage, remains part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection following a renovation.
The hotel is near Plano's Legacy Corridor master-planned district, NewcrestImage said in a statement. The renovation includes redesigned guestrooms and public spaces. Facilities include eight specialty suites, meeting spaces, a heated outdoor pool and a 4,000-square-foot courtyard.
NewcrestImage, led by Managing Partner Mehul Patel, acquired the former NYLO property in August 2025 and completed the renovation.
“We wanted to create a hotel that feels welcoming, intentional and deeply connected to the way people gather today,” said Patel. “The Clara is designed to be a place where guests can stay, dine, meet, celebrate and connect, whether they’re visiting from out of town or live just a few miles away.”
The hotel also features two F&B options, the statement said. Field & Vine serves breakfast and dinner under Executive Chef Daniel Armand, with a menu combining French techniques, Haitian influences and Texas ingredients. Beverages include cocktails, a wine list and local beers. The hotel also opened Archer cocktail lounge.
In June, NewcrestImage acquired the 140-room Graduate by Hilton in Tempe, Arizona, near Arizona State University and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
