ROYAL ORCHID HOTELS Ltd. launched its Iconiqa Collection with the signing of Laxminarayan Palace Resort in Vadodara, Gujarat. The 106-room property will operate under a revenue-sharing agreement through its subsidiary, Royal Orchid Goa Pvt. Ltd.

The launch marks the shift of Iconiqa from a standalone hotel brand to a collection brand, supporting ROHL's asset-light expansion strategy and expanding its presence in Gujarat, the company said in a statement.

"The Iconiqa Collection represents our vision of bringing together exceptional hotels that stand apart because of their individuality and the experiences they create," said Chander K. Baljee, Royal Orchid Chairman and Managing Director. "Laxminarayan Palace Resort is a remarkable addition to this portfolio. Its palace-inspired architecture, expansive celebration spaces, refined hospitality and deep connection to Vadodara's cultural identity make it far more than a hotel—it is a destination in itself."

The hotel, near Laxmi Vilas Palace, targets weddings, business events, leisure travelers and social gatherings, the statement said. The property includes six indoor event venues, lawns, courtyards, a ballroom, a swimming pool, a spa, a salon, a yoga studio and a fitness center.

Dining options include Mayur Pankh, which serves Indian cuisine, Cafe Nirvaan, an all-day café and Little Italy, a vegetarian Italian restaurant. ROHL said each hotel in the Iconiqa Collection will retain its own identity rather than follow a standard design.

Arjun Baljee, Royal Orchid President, said the collection brings together hotels that reflect their destinations.

"Laxminarayan Palace Resort perfectly reflects this vision," he said. "Its unique architecture, expansive event infrastructure, immersive culinary offerings and strong connection to Vadodara's heritage make it an ideal addition to the Collection. We believe it will redefine hospitality in the city while offering guests a destination that is equally compelling for celebrations, leisure, business and everyday experiences."

In June, ROHL opened Z by Regenta City Centre Ahmedabad, a 43-key hotel in Ahmedabad's Vastrapur area, marking the brand's entry into the city. The property was developed in partnership with PrimeStay Hospitality.
