KABANI HOTEL GROUP will host its 10th Annual Hotel Investment Forum on Oct. 29 at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. The event will bring hotel owners, lenders, brands and advisers together to discuss investment and financing strategies for 2027.
The forum will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Kabani said in a statement. Its theme is “Think Ahead. Think Growth.”
The agenda will cover lending and refinancing, including where capital is flowing and how deals are priced. Sessions will also examine artificial intelligence in hotel operations, revenue management and guest experience, along with extended-stay and other investment opportunities and the industry’s direction through 2030.
Neil Shah, president and CEO of Hersha Hotels & Resorts, will take part in a fireside chat moderated by Greg Friedman, co-founder, managing principal and CEO of Peachtree Group. Shah has helped lead more than $3 billion in hotel acquisitions, development and management. Friedman has overseen about $10 billion in commercial real estate investments.
Other confirmed speakers include Russ Shattan of MCR, Zack Gharib of Red Roof, Tim Muir of TPG Hotels & Resorts, Laura Lee Blake of AAHOA, Daniel Lesser of LW Hospitality Advisors, Samantha Ahuja of Greenberg Traurig, John Lancet of HVS and David Wilner of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
An extended-stay panel will feature Paul Novak of Extended Stay America, Pranav Bhakta of Driftwood Capital, Trisha Grisko of Broadband Hospitality, CJ Carr of Marriott and Robert Scribner of Choice Hotels International. A second panel, “Financing the Next Deal,” will include Billy Gilchrist of Peachtree Group, Nicholas Meli of Access Point Financial, Rushi Shah of Mag Mile Capital and Ethan Elser of Pace Equity Finance.
“The industry needs this conversation more than ever,” said Ahmed Kabani, Kabani's founder and CEO. “Our speakers will share what is working, where capital is going, and how to protect profits while delighting guests.”
Organizers said attendees will have access to more than 300 decision-makers.
Kabani’s ninth annual forum, held at the same venue, drew more than 300 hotel owners, investors, developers, lenders and executives.
Miami-based Kabani Hotel Group provides hotel brokerage and advisory services, including sales, market research, consulting and transaction guidance. The company says it has closed about $2 billion in hospitality transactions over the past 15 years.
