PRISM-OWNED WEDDINGZ launched three new banquet halls in Mumbai, expanding its managed venue portfolio across the city. This takes its Company Serviced Banquets model to multiple locations across Maharashtra.

The three venues are Globe Banquets in Dombivali, Radha Krishna The Great Banquet in Kalyan and V Grand Banquet in Ulhasnagar.

Under this model, Weddingz handles banquet sales, revenue management, guest experience, marketing, vendor coordination and event execution, the company said in a statement. The initiative looks to fix common problems in the banquet industry such as inconsistent pricing, hidden costs and last-minute service issues.

"The strong success of our company serviced hotel model inspired us to bring the same level of accountability, transparency and standardization to the events and celebrations segment," said Aditya Sharma, Weddingz business head. "India hosts more than 80 lakh weddings annually but there is a significant gap in professionally managed wedding and banquet experiences."

To maintain consistency across venues, PRISM implemented standardized processes, centralized quality audits and trained operational teams. The service includes clear pricing, documented agreements and event management support from booking through the event.

The launch comes as the government's “Wed in India” initiative gains momentum, encouraging couples to hold weddings within the country rather than abroad. Prime minister Narendra Modi pushed the initiative amid economic pressures tied to the Iran war, with therupee weakening more than 5percent since the conflict began, prompting calls for citizens to keep spending at home.

Recently, PRISM opened 38 extended-stay hotels across the U.S. under G6 Hospitality’s Studio 6 brand.
