DESIGN HOTELS, PART of Marriott International, added 16 Palisociety-operated hotels in nine U.S. destinations. The properties add more than 1,000 keys to its portfolio.
The addition represents the largest portfolio expansion in Design Hotels' history, Marriott said in a statement. The properties are also set to join Bonvoy rewards program in the coming months.
Palisociety, founded in Los Angeles in 2008 by Avi Brosh, operates more than 20 hotels, residences and restaurants across five sub-brands: Palihouse, Palihotel, Le Petit Pali, ARRIVE by Palisociety and a set of independently branded properties.

“Design Hotels has long been a symbol of creativity, vision and inspired hospitality in the industry, and we are thrilled to introduce our collection of hotels into their portfolio,” said Brosh. “Palisociety has always been driven by our love of design, culture and independence, and this agreement feels like a natural extension of those shared passions that hotel enthusiasts will undoubtedly appreciate.”

The hotels joining the portfolio include Palihouse West Hollywood, Palihotel Melrose, Palihotel San Francisco, Palihotel Westwood Village, Palihotel Palm Springs, Palihotel Hollywood, Palihotel Seattle, Le Petit Pali Brentwood, Le Petit Pali St. Helena, Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach, ARRIVE Albuquerque, ARRIVE Palm Springs, ARRIVE Wilmington, ARRIVE Memphis, Silver Lake Pool and Inn and The Hôtel Lili Beverly Hills.

Stijn Oyen, Design Hotels’ managing director, said Palisociety was built on an independent mindset, creating hotels with character and a strong sense of place.

“We share a belief that great hospitality is personal, distinctive and shaped by the people behind it,” he said.

Palisociety's hotels will gain access to Design Hotels' public relations, sales, digital marketing and content services, along with Marriott's global distribution network, the statement said.

Separately, Marriott launched Ask Bonvoy, an AI-powered search tool to help travelers discover destinations and hotels across its portfolio.
