KABANI HOTEL GROUP will host its 9th Annual Hotel Investment Forum on Oct. 30 at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. More than 350 hotel owners, investors, developers and brand executives are expected to attend.


The 2025 theme, “The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Create It,” focuses on innovation, leadership and creativity—highlighting how technology and design are reshaping hospitality investment and ownership models, Kabani said.

Speakers include Karim Alibhai, founder and principal of Gencom; Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts; Mark van Rijmenam, futurist and AI expert; Mitch Patel, founder and CEO of Vision Hospitality Group; Greg Friedman and Brian Waldman of Peachtree Group; Zack Gharib of Red Roof; Kamalesh “KP” Patel of AAHOA; Robert Scribner of Choice Hotels; Allie Neary of Best Western; Sonia Egyhazy of Accor; Azim Saju of HDG & Ark Holdings and Nilesh Patel of MW Law.

The event will feature networking zones, roundtables and a tradeshow floor for connecting with brands, capital providers and industry leaders, the statement said. It will also include a Capital & Lender Session – Investor Zone, where investors, lenders and advisors meet for capital-matching discussions and private deal-making.

Kabani Hotel Group is led by Founder and CEO Ahmed Kabani, a former leader of Marcus & Millichap’s national hospitality group. He launched the company in early 2024 with partners Luis Garino, Suraj Dalal, Kian McLean and Lucas Mondino.

U.S. EXTENDED-STAY HOTELS outperformed comparable hotel classes in the third quarter versus the same period in 2024, according to The Highland Group. Occupancy remained 11.4 points above comparable hotels and ADR declines were smaller.

The report, “US Extended-Stay Hotels: Third Quarter 2025”, found the largest gap in the economy segment, where RevPAR fell about one fifth as much as for all economy hotels. Extended-stay ADR declined 1.4 percent, marking the second consecutive quarterly decline not seen in 15 years outside the pandemic. RevPAR fell 3.1 percent, reflecting the higher share of economy rooms. Excluding luxury and upper-upscale segments, all-hotel RevPAR dropped 3.2 percent in the third quarter.
