YASH REAL MART is developing the 144-key Novotel Bhilwara Resort & Spa in Rajasthan, India. The resort is expected to open this year.

Bhilwara is one of Rajasthan’s leading textile and industrial centers, attracting business and corporate visitors. The resort will cover more than seven acres in the Mewar region. It will offer access to Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Chittorgarh and Kishangarh.

The property will include a restaurant, a bar, a lobby lounge, a spa, a fitness center and a swimming pool. It will offer more than 2,000 square meters of indoor event space, including a ballroom, conference and event rooms, along with about 6,000 square meters of outdoor lawns. It will cater to weddings, social celebrations, family getaways and business gatherings, Accor Ltd. said in a statement.

“Rajasthan continues to offer significant opportunities for hospitality development, with demand spanning business travel, weddings, social celebrations and leisure experiences,” said Ranju Alex, Accor’s CEO for South Asia. “Bhilwara’s strong industrial and textile economy, combined with its connectivity to key cities across the region, makes it an attractive addition to our portfolio.”

Rahul Choudhary, Yash Singhvi and Arpit Choudhary, Yash Real Mart promoters, said the resort will combine Indian hospitality, contemporary amenities and vegetarian dining.

“The resort’s event spaces, outdoor lawns and wellness facilities will cater to celebrations, family getaways and business gatherings,” they said.

Separately, SLK Hotels & Resorts will develop a 200-key Pullman and a 250-key ibis hotel near Bengaluru Airport in Karnataka.
