- RHG added two hotels in Gujarat.
- Sasan Gir resort offers 122 rooms.
- Rajkot hotel offers 54 rooms.
The Sasan Gir property is near Gir National Park and caters to leisure, family, wedding and MICE travelers, while the Rajkot hotel caters to business, leisure, meetings and social events, Radisson Hotel Group said in a statement.
Sasan Gir is the only natural habitat of Asiatic lions and is known for wildlife tourism. The resort is also near Madhuvanti Dam, with access to nearby attractions including Somnath Temple, Girnar Ropeway and Kamleshwar Dam. It offers an outdoor pool, jacuzzi, guided safaris, birdwatching and local cultural excursions. It also includes a restaurant, tea lounge and more than 164,250 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
Rajkot is a major commercial and industrial center in Gujarat’s Saurashtra region. The hotel is on Kanak Road, near the city’s business districts and industrial areas. It has a restaurant and a 2,000-square-feet banquet hall with a 600-square-feet pre-function area.
“We are expanding into leisure destinations, emerging urban centers and Tier II and Tier III markets with brands suited to each destination,” said Nikhil Sharma, RHG managing director and chief operating officer. “The openings in Sasan Gir and Rajkot strengthen our presence in Gujarat.”
Vikram Singh Chauhan, Nile Hospitality founder and CEO, said the two properties expand Nile’s partnership with RHG in Gujarat.
“They serve different markets, with Sasan Gir focused on wildlife and leisure travel and Rajkot on business and commercial demand,” Chauhan said.
The additions take RHG and Nile's Gujarat portfolio to five hotels in Kandla, Gandhinagar, Navsari, Sasan Gir and Rajkot, the statement said.
RHG signed and opened 160 hotels with more than 22,000 keys globally in first half of 2026.
