  • Weddingz to expand to 50 banquets.
  • The rollout will target six Indian cities.
  • It provides technology and operating systems.

WEDDINGZ, THE WEDDINGS and events business of PRISM, will expand its network from 25 to 50 company-serviced banquets across India in 2026. The rollout will target Gurugram, Kolkata, Jaipur, Ghaziabad, Patna and Mumbai, where the company has seen strong market response.

Under the model, Weddingz provides technology, hospitality, sales and operating systems to banquet properties, PRISM said in a statement. Owners retain their real estate while Weddingz manages operations, including staffing, vendor coordination, inventory, lead generation, revenue optimization, customer service and event execution.

"Beyond simply managing the venue, our focus is on helping banquet owners unlock the full potential of their properties," said Aditya Sharma, Weddingz business head. "This means creating the right positioning, pricing and visibility for each venue based on its location, customer profile and competitive landscape."

Weddingz aims to reduce venues' dependence on peak wedding dates by building demand for corporate events, conferences, meetings, social gatherings and other functions, helping properties manage bookings across wedding and non-wedding dates alike, the statement said. The company expects the serviced network to deliver a consistent customer experience and plans to develop operating systems it can replicate across markets.

The model gives venue owners access to Weddingz's hospitality, events, technology and customer acquisition capabilities, expanding the company's role in venue management across India's celebrations and events sector.

Separately, PRISM plans to launch a $700 million IPO this fiscal year.
