This is Pride’s first property in Himmatnagar, the company said in a statement. The hotel, launched by Ajay Bhai Patel, serves travellers along the Gujarat-Rajasthan corridor.
The hotel is near GIDC industrial zones and offers high-speed Wi-Fi for business travellers, the statement said. The property has more than 7,000 square feet of banquet and event space for meetings, conferences, weddings and social gatherings. It also includes a rooftop restaurant.
Mumbai-based Pride is led by chairman and managing director S.P. Jain, CEO Satyen Jain and executive director Atul Upadhyay.
“Himmatnagar, with its positioning on the Gujarat-Rajasthan corridor, presents an opportunity for business and leisure tourism,” Upadhyay said. “We are pleased to introduce Pride Elite, offering guests accommodation and hospitality services.”
Ajay Bhai Patel said the collaboration aims to make Himmatnagar a destination for corporate and social gatherings in North Gujarat.
“We are proud to collaborate with Pride Hotels to bring the brand’s hospitality to Himmatnagar,” Patel said. “In Phase 2, we will launch Regal Lawns by Pride, a 200,000-square-foot venue for events, weddings and leisure activities. This will further establish Himmatnagar as a destination for corporate and social gatherings.”
Demand for hospitality infrastructure is growing along industrial and transit routes connecting Gujarat and Rajasthan, Pride said.
“Pride Elite Himmatnagar’s location on the Ahmedabad-Udaipur Highway and proximity to industrial and business hubs make it an option for corporate travellers,” said Koustuva Mukherjee, Pride’s assistant vice president for Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Goa. “The hotel’s leisure amenities also cater to travellers seeking a getaway. We are excited about the property’s potential and its contribution to hospitality in North Gujarat.”
In December, Pride and Ekarth Group opened the 72-key Pride Elite Gandhinagar in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
