JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown is now open in Atlanta. The 237-key hotel was repositioned and redeveloped by hotel operator Stonebridge Cos.

The hotel is near downtown attractions including Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Georgia Aquarium, the companies said in a statement. Interiors by Dallas-based Looney & Associates feature works by Atlanta artists.

Amenities include a rooftop pool, spa, fitness center and second-floor executive lounge, the statement said. The property also includes 24 guestrooms on a “quiet floor” with in-room fitness and wellness features.

The hotel includes several dining venues, including The Ledger Bar and Lounge, Fiora, JW Market and rooftop pool bar The Perch, which is set to open in the coming weeks, the statement said. Meeting and event space totals nearly 10,000 square feet and includes conference rooms, banquet space and flexible venues for corporate meetings, social events and weddings.

“The opening of JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown marks an important milestone for Stonebridge as we expand our portfolio into Atlanta and the luxury and lifestyle hospitality space,” said Rob Smith, Stonebridge CEO and president. “As downtown continues to evolve and prepare to welcome global visitors for milestone events like the FIFA World Cup, we are delighted to introduce a JW Marriott experience that reflects the city’s energy while offering a sense of calm, thoughtful luxury to the area, steps from Atlanta’s most celebrated attractions.”

Denver-based Stonebridge, founded by Navin Dimond, is led by Smith. The company recently named Paul Eckert chief operating officer.

Bruce Rohr, JW Marriott’s vice president and global brand leader, said bringing JW Marriott to Atlanta is meaningful for the brand.

“With JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown, we are extending our mindful, holistic approach to well-being into the heart of the city—creating a place that supports balance, presence and intentional living amid the energy of downtown,” he said. “As our second JW Marriott in Atlanta, this opening represents an important step in the brand’s continued expansion within the market, thoughtfully rooted in design, purpose and a strong sense of place.”

Separately, Stonebridge will manage The Anthem Los Angeles Stadium District, Tapestry by Hilton, in Los Angeles. The company said it will use its operating platform across revenue management, sales, e-commerce, digital, F&B strategy and labor management to drive profitability and asset value.
