Paul Eckert is Stonebridge Cos.’ new chief operating officer. In this role, he will oversee hotel operations across the company’s portfolio, focusing on performance, property-level execution and results for ownership groups.

Eckert most recently served as COO at Trailborn Hotels & Resorts, Stonebridge said in a statement. Before that, he held executive roles at Davidson Hospitality Group, including executive vice president of operations and business intelligence, executive vice president of operations and senior vice president, overseeing multi-brand portfolios and improving operational performance, margins and asset value.

“Paul is a disciplined operator who understands that performance starts at the property level,” said Rob Smith, Stonebridge’s CEO. “Our priority is to maximize the value of the owner’s investment and that requires strong execution, accountability and consistency across the portfolio. Paul brings exactly that.”

Earlier in his career, Eckert served as vice president of operations – lifestyle, resort and independent hotels at Interstate Hotels & Resorts and as a dual-hotel general manager at White Lodging Services. He also spent more than a decade with Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Eckert said Stonebridge is built around performance and accountability and noted the strength and tenure of the team driving those results.

“There’s a balanced approach here, combining disciplined operations with experienced leadership at the property level to consistently deliver strong outcomes for ownership,” he said. “The opportunity is to further sharpen execution, expand margins and ensure every property performs at a high level.”

Stonebridge, based in Denver and founded by Navin Dimond, is led by CEO Rob Smith.

In March, Stonebridge named Skip Adams vice president of food and beverage. The company will manage a 216-room Kimpton hotel under development in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The project, developed by The Domain Cos., is expected to open in early 2028.
