The dual-branded 51-suite TownePlace Suites Paris and 62-suite Fairfield Inn & Suites Paris in Paris, Texas, are now open. Peachtree Group will operate the property on behalf of TEKMAK Development Co.

Peachtree, which partnered with TEKMAK in 2023 to provide third-party management for three hotels, now operates the SpringHill Suites Dallas Rockwall and will manage the under-construction TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Forney, Texas, the company said in a statement.

“We continue to seek best-in-class partners as we grow our third-party management portfolio,” said Vickie Callahan, Peachtree’s president of the hospitality management division. “The new-build hotels will help to meet the growing demand created by the ever-increasing business and leisure travel to Paris. These Marriott-branded properties were designed to provide the latest and most requested services and amenities that guests need to make a stay on the road a little bit more like home.”

Atlanta-based Peachtree is led by CEO and Managing Principal Greg Friedman, Managing Principal and CFO Jatin Desai and Principal Mitul Patel, while Dallas-based TEKMAK is led by CEO and President Thomas Kirkland.

TownePlace Suites and Fairfield Inn & Suites share an outdoor pool, fitness center, and 535 square feet of meeting space. TownePlace Suites offers suites with full kitchens, while Fairfield Inn & Suites includes a work area. The hotels are near Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Dallas Love Field, and Texarkana Regional Airport.

Meanwhile, Peachtree’s hospitality management division operates 107 hotels across 27 brands, totaling 13,360 rooms in 26 states, including 33 under third-party management.

Peachtree surpassed $2 billion in hotel development with 48 hotels nationwide, including 10 in opportunity zones. It deployed $1.6 billion in credit transactions in 2024, up 54 percent from 2023, including $876 million in hospitality. Michael Brunner was recently appointed executive vice president of credit investments.

RevPAR trends for US extended-stay hotels in April 2025

Report: Extended-stay April performance mixed

What's the latest on US extended-stay hotel performance for April 2025?

U.S. EXTENDED-STAY AND overall hotel RevPAR declined in April, reflecting their long-term correlation, according to The Highland Group. Economy and mid-price extended-stay hotels performed better than their respective classes, while upscale extended-stay hotel RevPAR fell in line with all upscale hotels, according to STR/CoStar.

The Highland Group’s “US Extended-Stay Hotels Bulletin: April 2025” reported a 3.6 percent year-over-year increase in extended-stay room nights available. This gain partly reflects the addition of mid-price brands WaterWalk by Wyndham in May 2024 and Executive Residency by Best Western in January to the database.
