PEACHTREE GROUP’S DEVELOPMENT platform received two industry honors. It won the 2026 CONNECT Developer of the Year Award from Marriott International and its Hampton Inn & Suites Maui North Shore was named Development of the Year at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit.

Atlanta-based Peachtree has developed branded hotels for nearly 20 years across the U.S., with a portfolio and pipeline exceeding $2 billion, the company said in a statement. It is led by CEO Greg Friedman, CFO Jatin Desai and Principal Mitul Patel.

“Recognition from Marriott is particularly meaningful given the rigor of its development standards and the trust required to grow alongside its U.S. portfolio over time,” said Friedman. “Pairing that firm-level honor with peer recognition from ALIS for one of our developments underscores the strength of our platform and our ability to deliver projects that perform in complex markets.”

Hampton Inn & Suites Maui North Shore, a 136-room hotel that opened in April 2025 as the first branded select-service hotel on Maui’s North Shore, was named Development of the Year (select/limited service) at ALIS. The project was developed by Peachtree with Blackridge Group and Argosy Real Estate Partners. It is the second Peachtree–Blackridge property to receive an award, following AC Hotel Sacramento, which won the 2025 CoStar Impact Award.

Friedman said the recognitions highlight Peachtree’s development approach and its ability to deliver hospitality assets.

In January, Peachtree acquired First Western SBLC, which operates as PMC Commercial Trust, a Dallas-based direct lender of SBA 7(a) loans. The company also appointed Barry Berlin and Laurie Ivy to lead PMC’s lending integration and manage daily operations.
