- IHCL creates select service business vertical.
- Vertical targets over 25 percent revenue CAGR.
- Deepika Rao to lead new vertical.
Ginger is a midscale brand, Tree of Life offers leisure stays, ama Stays &Trails offers premium homestays and Qmin is IHCL’s food and dining brand. The new structure follows IHCL’s recent additions of ANK Hotels and Pride Hospitality to its portfolio, the company said in a statement.
"The select service business will serve as a non-linear growth engine for IHCL," said Puneet Chhatwal, IHCL managing director and CEO. “These high-growth brands with distinct market positioning will capitalize on emerging opportunities enabling the select service business to deliver an enterprise revenue CAGR of over 25 percent under Accelerate 2030.”
Select service business will be led by executive vice president Deepika Rao. She will lead the team for the four brands and five legal entities. Jana Ramakrishna is head of HR, while Aveek Sengupta is the brand leader for Tree of Life. Aryavir Kumar is chief executive officer of ANK Hotels & Pride Hospitality.
Anika Gupta is senior vice president of development and brand leader for ama Stays & Trails. Sanjana Eapen is head of marketing, while Gazal Chowdhri is the brand leader for Qmin. Ram Maheshwari is head of commercial. Manish Kumar is head of operations and openings and Jithin Prakash is head of finance and strategy.
Select service business includes 260 Ginger hotels, more than 40 Tree of Life resorts, over 360 ama Stays &Trails bungalows and more than 100 Qmin outlets.
IHCL recently reorganized its operations into traditional businesses and growth businesses and appointed new leaders for the two divisions.
