- Zo Selections opened in Jaipur.
- Second property planned in Gokarna.
- Zo World targets 10,000 beds.
Zo Selections includes social spaces, bonfires, workshops and sundowner events, the company said in a statement. The Jaipur property features private rooms, Jacuzzi suites, common areas, dedicated workstations and an in-house restaurant.
“Premium hospitality is easy to buy and hard to earn. We did not want to build another five-star hotel; we wanted to build the next chapter of a community we have spent 13 years growing,” said Aviral Gupta, CEO of Zostel. “Zo Selections was built to bring people into the same space, just as our first hostel did. Jaipur is where we start, but it will not be where we stop.”
Following Jaipur, Zo Selections plans to open a second property in Gokarna, followed by properties in Mussoorie, Pench and Lonavla. The new brand joins Zo World’s existing portfolio, which includes Zostel Plus, Zostel Homes and Zo House.
Over the past year, Zostel reached 100 properties and opened its first international location in Phuket. The group also entered Europe through Safestay, which operates in more than 20 destinations. Zo World aims to reach 10,000 beds, with Zo Selections as its entry into premium hospitality.
In June, Zostel opened its Guwahati property, marking its entry into Assam and expanding its presence in Northeast India.
