DOMINIC DRAGISICH IS now president and CEO of Choice Hotels International. He has served as interim CEO since May 20, after former President and CEO Patrick Pacious stepped down.
In nearly 10 years with the company, Dragisich has held roles including CFO, executive vice president of operations and chief global brand officer, and chief growth and strategy officer, Choice said in a statement. He helped lead Choice’s acquisitions and initiatives to expand its portfolio.
Before joining Choice, he served as CFO at XO Communications, where he returned the company to top-line growth and increased profitability.
“Dom has been a proven, exceptional leader for nearly a decade at Choice,” said Stewart Bainum, Choice chairman of the board of directors. “Since stepping into the role of interim CEO, Dom has advanced strategic priorities and fostered a performance-driven culture across the company. He brings an innovative mindset, a deep appreciation for attracting and developing great talent and a clear vision for the future of the business.”
He said the board conducted a search and evaluated internal and external candidates.
Earlier in his career, Dragisich held finance and operations roles at Marriott International, NII Holdings and Deloitte Consulting.

In June, Choice named Tony Pallas chief technology officer.
