AON HOSPITALITY GROUP acquired the 127-key Hampton Inn Miami Airport East, in Miami. The deal was brokered by Hunter Advisors.
The transaction marks the buyer's first property in South Florida, Hunter said in a statement. The five-story hotel, built in 2017, includes a fitness center, business center and about 748 square feet of meeting space. It serves both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel is near Miami International Airport, with access to Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables, the Miami Health District, Wynwood Arts District, PortMiami and South Beach. It is also less than a mile from Miami Freedom Park, a $1 billion mixed-use district that will include Inter Miami CF’s future stadium.

The New Jersey-based AON is led by chief executive officer Harry Patel and president Gary Patel.

"We are excited to acquire this hotel in Miami and look forward to growing in the South Florida market in the upcoming years,” said Gary. “We believe Miami is one of the most dynamic and vibrant markets, and this investment aligns with our underwriting criteria.”

The deal was arranged by Hunter’s senior vice president Sophia Pittaluga and executive vice president Robert Taylor.

Pittaluga said the transaction drew significant buyer interest in Miami’s competitive hotel market.

“This transaction reflects confidence in Miami's long-term fundamentals and the opportunity buyers continue to see in assets that are positioned to benefit from both established business demand and the region's ongoing growth, particularly with catalysts like Miami Freedom Park to drive investor interest in this submarket,” she said.

AON recently acquired the 130-key Holiday Inn Express & Suites in South Portland, Maine, from Beddy Bye LLC.
