The hotels will be in Bengaluru’s airport corridor, near aviation, technology, aerospace, logistics and commercial businesses. The area will serve business and leisure travelers, airline crews, MICE groups and long-stay guests, Accor Ltd. said in a statement.
The Pullman will have three food and beverage outlets and about 1,500 square meters of meeting and event space. The ibis will have an all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge and bar, along with about 300 square meters of conference and event space.
“The property will offer guests a diverse experience while creating a unified hospitality destination,” said Ranju Alex, Accor’s South Asia CEO. “The project reflects the evolving airport ecosystem in Bengaluru, where the convergence of business, technology, aviation and expanding commercial districts is driving demand for accommodation across a spectrum of traveler segments.”
SLK Hotels is the hospitality arm of Bengaluru-based SLK Group, led by SLK Group chairman Parth Amin and vice chairman Vidur Amin, with Manish Singhvi as CEO of SLK Hotels.
Singhvi said, Bengaluru’s airport corridor is becoming an important growth area and the company aims to build the hospitality infrastructure it needs.
“This is an anchor project of SLK Hotels, a platform we are building in India's high-growth corridors and island destinations,” he said.
Separately, Fanidhar Infra & Hospitality is developing the 250-key Sofitel Ahmedabad Palladium Mall Road in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
