It will be along the Delhi-Jaipur corridor, with access to Jaipur city, Jaipur International Airport and attractions including Amer Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort and the Aravalli Hills, Accor Ltd. said in a statement.
The resort will feature guestrooms and suites with private balconies, an all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge bar, swimming pool, spa and fitness center. It will also include about 1,000 square meters of banquet and meeting space for weddings, social events, MICE events, corporate offsites and leisure stays.
“The signing supports our expansion into destinations with long-term leisure and events potential,” said Ranju Alex, Accor’s South Asia CEO. “Achrol’s growing demand for leisure travel, weddings and business events makes it a suitable market for Novotel.”
Vivek Khandelwal, Avni Carnations partner, said the destination has seen growth in leisure tourism, weddings and corporate events.
“We aim to develop a hospitality project that supports the region’s tourism,” Khandelwal said.
Achrol is becoming a leisure, wedding and corporate events destination, supported by its access from Delhi NCR and other North Indian markets, the statement said.
In June, Accor signed the 160-key Novotel Lucknow Convention Centre in Uttar Pradesh, India.
