- Roseate plans a smart hotel brand.
- Its portfolio will reach 30 hotels by 2030.
- It will target upscale, smart hotel segments.
The new brand will target the four-star upscale and five-star smart hotel segments, with lower development costs and more use of technology while keeping Roseate’s service standards, Kush Kapoor, Roseate CEO told PTI. It will target smaller cities and major markets where travelers seek quality hotels at more accessible prices.
“The sub-brand will launch early next year with a different product and lower development costs,” Kapoor said. “It will follow Roseate’s service standards and focus on four-star upscale and five-star smart hotels rather than luxury hotels.”
Kapoor said the group hopes conditions will improve in the coming year, allowing it to move forward with plans for those markets.
Roseate operates three hotels in India, two in Delhi and one in Rishikesh and five in the UK. Its India plans include adding villas at its Rishikesh property and developing confirmed projects in South Goa and Shillong, Meghalaya.
Separately, Omaxe Ltd. is planning 10 hospitality projects with a combined 4,000 keys in India, with Carnation Hotels set to manage the properties.
