The expansion is part of company’s plan to grow its premium hotel portfolio in the U.K. and other markets, according to PTI. The properties were secured through lease or long-term management agreements and will be renovated in phases to meet Sunday Hotels’ standards.
PRISM is led by founder and group CEO Ritesh Agarwal, who also chairs G6 Hospitality, parent of Motel 6 and Studio 6.
"The expansion is part of PRISM's strategy to transform legacy properties into premium, experience-driven offerings, while building a strong and scalable presence in the U.K.'s premium hospitality market," PRISM told PTI. "These properties use PRISM’s India-built technology platform and are located in business and leisure destinations. They include large hotels serving meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions tourism, alongside boutique heritage stays.”
Puneet Yadav, PRISM’s U.K. country head, said the expansion supports tourism links between India and the U.K.
Sunday Hotels has 16 properties in England and Wales. Its portfolio includes Bristol Grand Hotel by Sunday, The Lansbury Heritage in London, Exeter Rougemont Hotel by Sunday, Holland House Hotel in Cardiff, Sunday London Staines upon Thames, Winchester Wessex Hotel and Atlantic Tower Hotel.
Belvilla’s UK portfolio now includes 24 boutique hotels, including Carlton Hotel in Bournemouth, Peckham Rooms Hotel in London, Church Street Hotel in London and Airport Stanley Hotel in Manchester.
PRISM began investor roadshows for its proposed $701 million IPO, highlighting its international growth and financial performance.
