Other upgrades include improved seating, renovated restrooms, new digital information displays and more charging points. Food and retail options at the airport now total more than 150 outlets.
“Summer 2026 is one of the most anticipated travel seasons in our history,” said Tracy Borda, PHL interim chief executive officer. “From FIFA World Cup matches, America’s 250th birthday celebration and the MLB All-Star Game to new American Airlines international flights to Prague, Budapest and Santiago, and airline partner Allegiant, we are ready to welcome millions traveling to and from Philadelphia.”
Kate Sullivan, PHL chief commercial officer, said parking garage C is closed for renovations and travelers can use PHL Reserve parking, valet service or the Economy Lot by booking in advance.
“Parking can be reserved up to one year before travel and cancelled up to two hours before arrival if plans should change”, she added.
Officials also advised passengers without reservations to allow extra time during peak hours as nearby garages may be full.
A recent GSTV survey showed Americans plan extensive road travel this summer, including for sporting events, despite economic uncertainty.
