Noble Investment Group opens Element in Nashville, Tennessee

The Element Nashville Vanderbilt West End is now open in Nashville, Tennessee. The LEED-certified hotel is owned by Noble Investment Group, led by Mit Shah as CEO.

The 175-room hotel is on City Boulevard near Vanderbilt University, Music Row, and Ryman Auditorium. Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Also nearby are outdoor activities such as Cumberland Caverns, the Parthenon at Centennial Park and walking, biking and paddling tours.


Hotel amenities include a saline infinity pool, an open-air terrace and two onsite meeting and event venues with a combined 1,420 square feet of space.

In January, Noble, based in Atlanta, made three new appointments to its senior management lineup. They are Ben Brunt as chief investment officer, Jim Conley as chief compliance officer, and George Dabney as chief financial officer, and all three are principals, too.

INDIAN-ORIGIN U.S. REP. Raja Krishnamoorthi recently reintroduced legislation proposing to raise the H-1B visa cap to 130,000 amid new fraud allegations against the program. Experts estimate the increase could create 45,000 to 50,000 additional opportunities for Indian professionals, though political uncertainty persists.

The Halting International Relocation of Employment Act would raise the annual H-1B cap from 65,000 (plus 20,000 for advanced degree holders) to 130,000, according to The Times of India.
