MEWS AND UBER are integrating ride booking, trip tracking and billing into the Mews hospitality operating system. The move will let hotel staff and guests book Uber rides through the platform and add transportation charges to guest folios through Mews Payments.
The integration will include ride booking through the Mews platform and guest portal, vehicle tracking, trip confirmations and billing, the companies said in a statement. Hotels will also gain access to ride activity and transportation spending data to help manage services.
It will also support employee transportation, including rides for staff working late or overnight shifts.
“Hotels put enormous effort into the guest experience within their four walls,” said Christophe Peymirat, senior director and general manager of Uber for Business EMEA. “The journey to and from the property is just as much a part of that experience. Connecting Uber's network directly into the Mews platform is a practical step toward giving hotels visibility and control over something they have been managing manually for decades.”
Mike Coscetta, president of Amsterdam-based Mews, said embedding Uber into the Mews Operating System would allow hotels to offer transportation as part of the guest stay.
“The integration will add it to a unified guest bill, making it part of the guest relationship rather than a separate transaction,” he said.
The partnership follows Uber’s GO-GET 2026 announcement, which reorganized its app around transportation, delivery and travel, the statement said. The Mews integration extends Uber’s travel strategy into hotel property management systems by allowing hotels to incorporate transportation into guest stays.
The integration is in development, with a pilot program expected to launch later this year.
In April, Mews launched Mews Business Intelligence, an analytics and AI insights platform for hotels that analyzes data to identify trends.
