- Brightpath acquired a Hampton Inn in Fishkill, NY.
- The seller was River Link Hotels.
- The hotel serves the Hudson Valley.
BRIGHTPATH HOSPITALITY ACQUIRED the 98-key Hampton Inn Fishkill in New York from River Link Hotels. Terms were not disclosed.
New York-based Cherko Fusco Realty, led by Principal Bryce Cherko, represented River Link Hotels in the sale, the brokerage said in a statement.
The four-story hotel, built in 1998, is near Beacon, Dia Beacon, Hudson Highlands State Park, Dutchess Stadium and Stewart International Airport, the statement said. It serves leisure and transient demand in the Hudson Valley.
“The hotel benefits from its access to I-84 and Route 9 while drawing visitors from throughout the Hudson Valley,” Cherko said. “Between Beacon, outdoor recreation, sports, tourism and Stewart International Airport, there are many reasons for travelers to come through this corridor. Pair that with a recently renovated Hampton Inn, and we believe Brightpath Hospitality is acquiring a well-positioned asset.”
Cherko said the firm has closed eight hotel transactions this year and is focused on expanding its business. He said the firm is involved in each transaction and works to understand its assets and markets.
Dutchess County generated about $811 million in visitor spending in 2024, including more than $229 million on lodging, the statement said. Fishkill’s access to New York City, Westchester County, Connecticut and the Northeast, along with the Hudson Valley’s growth as a leisure destination, supports the lodging market.
River Link Hotels is a Fishkill-based hospitality company founded by Balvantbhai and Kusumben Patel. Their sons, Vishal and Bhavesh Patel, now lead it. Brightpath Hospitality is a Hudson Valley-based hotel management firm founded by hospitality veterans Harry and Nick Patel.
In February, affiliates of AON Hospitality Group acquired the 130-key Holiday Inn Express & Suites in South Portland, Maine, from Beddy Bye LLC. Cherko Fusco Realty represented the seller.
