VRINDA VILLAS HOTELS and Resorts will develop the 155-key Wyndham Garden Chhatikara in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, India. The hotel is expected to open in early 2031.

The hotel on Chhatikara Road will cater to pilgrims, families, leisure travelers and groups visiting Vrindavan, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts said in a statement.

“Vrindavan continues to attract a growing number of visitors seeking meaningful spiritual and cultural experiences, creating demand for high-quality hospitality offering,” said Bal Mukund Sharma and Shashi Kant Sharma, Vrinda Villas directors.

Rahool Macarius, Wyndham’s market managing director for Eurasia, said Vrindavan is a major pilgrimage destination that attracts visitors for spiritual, cultural and leisure travel.

“The agreement supports our expansion in key markets with experienced owners,” Macarius said.

The hotel will use Wyndham’s distribution, marketing, sales, revenue management and technology systems and join its Wyndham Rewards loyalty program, the statement said.

Separately, a 100-key Vienna House Easy hotel is under development in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh.
