- Vienna House to debut in India.
- Hotel to open in Vrindavan in 2029.
- Property near ISKCON Vrindavan.
The property will mark the debut of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ European lifestyle brand in India, according to PTI. It will be near Banke Bihari Temple, Prem Mandir and ISKCON Vrindavan, with access to Mathura Junction, Agra and Delhi. The property will have an all-day restaurant, a rooftop infinity pool with a poolside terrace, banquet space and vegetarian dining.
“In Europe, Vienna House has built its reputation on creating welcoming, design-led experiences that feel connected to the communities around them,” said Rahool Macarius, Wyndham’s market managing director, Eurasia. “As destinations such as Vrindavan attract a broader mix of travelers seeking culture, spirituality and discovery, we see a clear opportunity to introduce a brand that combines international hospitality standards with a genuine sense of place.”
The hotel’s developer Sachin Kumar, owner and operator of Kumar Beverages Industries, said Vrindavan is attracting more pilgrims, families and travelers seeking cultural experiences. Nardev Chaudhary is a partner in the hotel.
“Together with Wyndham, we are creating a hotel that brings the warmth, character and design ethos of Vienna House Easy to India while remaining rooted in the traditions and identity of Vrindavan," Kumar said.
“Wyndham currently has more than 50 hotels in its pipeline in India, with 25 to 30 percent of these expected to open in the next two years. We're going to close the year with about 100 operational hotels,” said Dimitris Manikis, Wyndham’s president for EMEA.
In June, TDI Infratech signed a deal with Wyndham to develop a 53-key Ramada hotel in Panipat, Haryana.
