Maechler brings international leadership experience in luxury hotels and destination brands. His career includes leadership roles at Beau-Rivage Hotel in Neuchatel, Switzerland and La Reserve Eden au Lac in Zurich, SUJÁN said in a statement.
He has held executive responsibility for international hospitality and real estate portfolios. He served on the executive committee and board of directors of Relais & Chateaux, as vice president of the board of Swiss Deluxe Hotels and on the board of Les Grandes Tables de Suisse.
SUJÁN, founded by Jaisal Singh in 2000, is a New Delhi-based luxury hospitality company focused on conservation, wildlife and local communities. It operates three camps in India, all members of Relais & Châteaux: SUJÁN Sher Bagh, SUJÁN The Serai and SUJÁN Jawai.

Maechler said SUJÁN combines conservation, culture and hospitality in a distinctive way.
