SiteMinder, IDeaS release 'Dynamic Revenue Plus'

The new platform integrates IDeaS’ dynamic pricing with SiteMinder’s distribution platform

SiteMinder, IDeaS release 'Dynamic Revenue Plus'

SITEMINDER, THE HOSPITALITY software platform led by CEO Sankar Narayan, and IDeaS recently launched the “Dynamic Revenue Plus” revenue management system that enables hotels to access live market intelligence and quickly act on their bookable inventory, pricing and distribution strategies. This mobile-first solution allows any hotel to optimize revenue based on market demand, unlike traditional RMS, which are often limited to select hotels.

Dynamic Revenue Plus employs data from SiteMinder’s platform, encompassing 120 million annual hotel bookings, and will soon be enhanced with pricing recommendations from IDeaS, the companies said in a joint statement.

“We’re committed to democratizing revenue management and bringing the benefits of dynamic, demand-based pricing to hotels across the globe,” said Klaus Kohlmayr, IDeaS’ chief evangelist and development officer. “This partnership offers hotels of all sizes and operating models a viable option to avoid losing revenue due to outdated manual practices.”

The integration of IDeaS’ dynamic pricing capabilities with SiteMinder’s distribution platform and market intelligence will help hotels of all sizes, including those with limited resources, with robust revenue management and quick market access, the statement said. It will initially be available to hotels in Australia and New Zealand, expanding to other markets in 2025, the companies said.

“While market intelligence is not new, Dynamic Revenue Plus is unique for its capability to not only provide insights but also enable hoteliers to take multiple actions, beyond pricing changes, within minutes,” said Leah Rankin, SiteMinder’s chief product officer. “Its mobile-first approach and ability to forecast demand allow hoteliers to adapt quickly to market conditions. Truly, Dynamic Revenue Plus is the first of its kind, and together with the IDeaS team, we are delighted to offer it to hotels looking to shift to dynamic revenue management and drive significant revenue growth.”

The tool was conceived in late 2023 to align with the global convergence of distribution, revenue optimization and market intelligence strategies observed by SiteMinder in hotels, fostering a commercial mindset across departments, the statement said. It is also a key component of SiteMinder’s Smart Platform strategy, aimed at making sophisticated revenue management accessible to every hotel worldwide.

In June, SiteMinder partnered with PMS software developer Cloudbeds to enhance services for its 60,000 hotelier clients by providing Cloudbeds clients direct access to SiteMinder’s revenue platform and allowing SiteMinder users to leverage Cloudbeds’ PMS platform.

RevPAR trends for US extended-stay hotels in April 2025

Report: Extended-stay April performance mixed

What's the latest on US extended-stay hotel performance for April 2025?

U.S. EXTENDED-STAY AND overall hotel RevPAR declined in April, reflecting their long-term correlation, according to The Highland Group. Economy and mid-price extended-stay hotels performed better than their respective classes, while upscale extended-stay hotel RevPAR fell in line with all upscale hotels, according to STR/CoStar.

The Highland Group’s “US Extended-Stay Hotels Bulletin: April 2025” reported a 3.6 percent year-over-year increase in extended-stay room nights available. This gain partly reflects the addition of mid-price brands WaterWalk by Wyndham in May 2024 and Executive Residency by Best Western in January to the database.
