RADISSON HOTEL GROUP and Accenture launched a ChatGPT app enabling travelers to search, compare and access hotel booking options through natural conversation. The app supports RHG’s shift toward AI-led travel planning.
The app, available as @RadissonHotels in ChatGPT, allows users to explore more than 1,000 Radisson Hotels properties across more than 100 countries through travel requests, with responses providing live inventory, rates, hotel details, amenities and map-based results, RHG said in a statement. Travelers can find options based on their needs and complete reservations through the Radisson Hotels website.
RHG said AI platforms such as ChatGPT are emerging as new touchpoints alongside organic and direct web traffic channels that have supported online bookings.
“AI is radically transforming how people search for and book hotel stays, and we are committed to being at the forefront of this shift,” said Gianni Di Fede, RHG’s chief commercial officer. “With Accenture, we are reimagining hotel discovery for the next generation of travelers—meeting guests in the planning moment with a branded experience that makes it easier to find, compare and book Radisson Hotels properties.”
The launch enables travelers to move from intent to discovery, comparison and decision-making through AI conversations rather than traditional searches, the statement said. The collaboration began with RHG using an MCP accelerator from Accenture’s AI Merchant Center to prepare content, inventory, rates and booking signals for AI discovery. Accenture then designed the app experience, connecting it with RHG systems to provide real-time hotel information and help travelers create relevant shortlists.
Ndidi Oteh, Accenture Song CEO, said agentic commerce is changing how people discover and choose brands.
“As journeys become more conversational and intent-driven, companies have to rethink how they show up—not just to be found, but to be chosen, and to deliver value in that moment,” she said.
Accenture’s Consumer Pulse Research found that 87 percent of travelers are open to using an AI-powered travel agent, while 71 percent expect AI to influence at least half of their hotel or airline spending over the next 12 months.
The app is part of RHG’s digital transformation and direct booking strategy, following Accenture’s support in modernizing its digital and data foundation, unifying brands on a global platform and enabling personalized marketing, the statement said. The companies plan to add features including personalization, loyalty recognition, in-chat booking, reservation management, trip modification and AI concierge capabilities.
According to its website, RHG operates more than 1,640 hotels in operation and under development across more than 100 countries, primarily in EMEA and APAC, with brands including Radisson, Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson Collection, Radisson Individuals, Park Plaza and Park Inn by Radisson.
RHG signed 10 new hotels in India in the second week of July, including properties in pilgrimage towns, business cities and leisure destinations.
Separately, Choice Hotels International acquired Radisson Hotel Group Americas in 2022, covering Radisson brand operations in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, while RHG continues to operate independently in other markets. In 2024, Choice relaunched Radisson Individuals in the Americas as an upper-upscale soft brand targeting full-service, boutique and independent hotels
