The 118-key Novotel Bhopal opened in Madhya Pradesh’s capital city, marking the brand’s first property in the state. It is near the city’s emerging Smart City district.
The hotel is near Rani Kamlapati Railway Station, Raja Bhoj Airport, Upper Lake, Van Vihar National Park and Bharat Bhavan, with Sanchi Stupa and the Bhimbetka Rock Shelters accessible from Bhopal.
The hotel features a fitness center and about 13,553 square feet of event space for meetings and social functions. It caters to business travelers, families and local guests, Accor Ltd. said in a statement.
“We aim to serve business and leisure travelers, families and local residents by combining Indian hospitality with Novotel’s contemporary approach,” said Satyam Vij, general manager of Novotel Bhopal.
In July, Accor opened the 118-key Novotel Bhubaneswar in Odisha.
