Gurjeet Nijjar is Kiotel’s president and chief operating officer. He works with Founder and CEO Raj Patel to oversee product development, technology, commercial strategy, partnerships and operations.

Nijjar has led teams and business functions across technology, operations and growth, Kiotel said in a statement. He also built a software and AI development, advisory and services firm. At Kiotel, he will apply that experience to expand the company’s technology, operations and partnerships.

“We’ve built Kiotel by working closely with hotel operators and understanding what it takes to support their properties every day,” said Patel. “As we expand, we need to bring that same operating discipline to our technology, services, and partnerships. Gurjeet brings the technology and business experience to lead that work alongside me.”

Kiotel is a hospitality technology and services company built by hotel operators. It serves more than 100 hotel properties and provides self-service check-in kiosks, live virtual front desk support and hotel operations services.

The company plans to expand property management system integrations, broaden operational services and apply AI and automation to routine hotel workflows.

Patel will continue to lead Kiotel’s vision and hospitality strategy. Nijjar will oversee expansion across technology, operations and commercial development.

Nijjar said Kiotel’s foundation includes relationships with hotel operators and experience supporting their day-to-day operations.

“Our next step is to connect more of that work, bringing software, automation, and services together so hotel teams have less to coordinate themselves,” he said. “The goal is to become a broader operating partner for hotels, with the technology and support to help them run their properties more effectively.”

Separately, Nehali Patel is Noble Investment Group’s director of asset management, overseeing asset performance across its portfolio of more than 200 hotels.
