The Pune entry will expand the brand into that commercial market, while Sriperumbudur will add a business and industrial market to its portfolio. The company is focusing on established and emerging markets with travel potential, Mango Hill Hotels said in a statement.
Mango Hill Hotels, based in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, is led by executive director Gayathiri OM and managing director OM Saravanan and operates hotels and resorts in business, leisure and pilgrimage destinations.
“Our existing portfolio has given us a strong foundation and valuable experience across different types of destinations,” said Gayathiri. “As we move into the next phase, our focus is on creating a well-diversified portfolio across India.”
Gayathiri said future hospitality growth depends on understanding the specific needs of each destination.
It also operates in Chennai, Coimbatore, Kodaikanal, Ooty, Pondicherry, Velankanni and Yercaud, serving leisure and pilgrimage markets.
In February, Brigade Hotel Ventures Ltd. signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu government to invest $121.59 million in three Chennai hotels.
