LXMI CAPITAL ACQUIRED the 384-key DoubleTree by Hilton San Antonio Airport in San Antonio for $36.4 million from Presidian Hospitality. Fortress Investment Group financed the deal.

Presidian Hospitality acquired the property in 2019 and completed a $10 million renovation after the acquisition, the San Antonio Business Journal reported. The hotel opened in 1981 as La Mansion del Norte and later became a DoubleTree.

The property is about two miles from San Antonio International Airport. The 13-story property offers around 14,659 square feet of meeting and event space, an outdoor pool and a fitness center. The property serves both business and leisure travelers seeking airport access and connections to the wider San Antonio market.

LXMI is an Austin, Texas-based real estate investment firm led by founder and chief executive officer Tony Gupta.

Last year, LXMI acquired the 88-key TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dallas McKinney in McKinney, Texas.
