Vipin Khattar is Accor Ltd.’s chief commercial officer for South Asia. He will oversee sales, revenue management, marketing, digital distribution, loyalty and partnerships in the region.

Khattar brings international hospitality experience from India, the Middle East, Africa and the U.K. His experience includes business growth, strategic partnerships and commercial leadership, Accor said in a statement.

Khattar joins Accor from The Ritz-Carlton Jeddah, where he served as general manager. He previously held senior roles with Marriott International, including general manager of JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity and multi-property general manager in Dubai.

His leadership roles also include positions with The St. Regis, Delta Hotels and Marriott Residences. Earlier in his career, he worked with Hyatt in the UAE and Egypt, including as general manager and area director of sales and marketing and held roles at Atlantis The Palm and Grand Hyatt Dubai.

“Vipin’s experience and business knowledge will support our commercial strategy in the region,” said Ranju Alex, Accor's CEO for South Asia. “Under his leadership, we will strengthen our brands, deepen partnerships and identify new opportunities in different markets and segments.”

Khattar said he would work with Accor’s teams, hotel owners and partners to strengthen commercial performance, support its brands and drive growth in South Asia.

In June, Accor appointed Balvinder Sahrawat as vice president of development for South Asia to lead portfolio expansion and new signings.
