The hotel will be part of India Expo Plaza, a mixed-use development in Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida. It is expected to cater to business travelers and corporate guests, with demand in Greater Noida driven mainly by MICE and events. With the signing, Fortune will have five hotels in Uttar Pradesh and five in the NCR, ITC Hotels said in a statement.
“Greater Noida is a strategic addition to Fortune brand’s growing portfolio,” said Anil Chadha, ITC Hotels managing director. “It is a high-impact market, driven by growing industrial activity, recurring MICE demand, strong NCR corporate connectivity, and the growth impetus of the Jewar Airport corridor.”
Ankur Mittal, chairman and managing director of SVG Realty and Vinayaka Expo Plaza, said the company looks forward to welcoming business, MICE and leisure travelers as Greater Noida grows as a business hub.
Separately, ITC Hotels recently signed a management agreement for the 104-key Welcomhotel Manesar Gurugram in Haryana.
