HYATT HOTELS CORP. and Sukhmaa Group opened the 108-key Hyatt Place Vithalapur in Gujarat, India. The property is designed to serve the growing number of corporate visitors in one of India’s active manufacturing corridors.
The property is the first internationally branded hotel in Vithalapur, Hyatt said in a statement. The other two properties are in Vadodara and Bharuch.

Vithalapur has seen increasing investment from global companies, particularly in the automobile sector. It is home to a major Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India plant and is part of the Mandal-Becharaji industrial region.

The hotel offers many rooms with private balconies. It also has an all-day dining restaurant, a pool and spaces for business meetings and conferences.

"As Vithalapur rapidly transforms into a pivotal hub in India's manufacturing ecosystem, we are excited to introduce Hyatt Place Vithalapur to the market,” said Bhuwan Chandra, Hyatt general manager. “Hyatt Place Vithalapur is thoughtfully designed to support the evolving lifestyles of modern business travelers, offering the perfect blend of comfort, connectivity and convenience.”

Sukhmaa is a Gurugram-based company providing workforce, facility management and related services, led by founder and CEO Shri Ram Mehar Singh Maan.

Vijay Maan, Sukhmaa’s director said the hotel opening with Hyatt was a long-held goal.

“We believe this hotel will not only serve as a premium stay for guests but will also spark new energy and opportunity for the local community,” he said.

Hyatt announced plans to expand its India portfolio fivefold by 2030, supported by new hotel openings and partnerships.
