- SMEs seek greater control over travel spending.
- Spotnana powers Hyatt’s redesigned booking platform.
- Eligibility requires at least 50 annual room nights.
HYATT HOTELS CORP. redesigned Hyatt Leverage, its online business travel platform for small and midsize companies, according to the company. The platform gives eligible businesses preferred rates at more than 1,300 Hyatt hotels and manages bookings, travel spending and payments in one place.
Hyatt announced the update in its Oct. 30 release, as smaller companies seek greater control over travel costs. Business Travel News’ 2026 SME Travel Management Survey of 136 travel managers and buyers found that 45 percent of respondents increased travel spending in 2025, and 32 percent kept it level. The survey covered programs with up to $25 million in annual travel and entertainment spending. Half of respondents expected spending to rise in 2026, and about two in five said they had strengthened travel policies this year or last.
“Small-and-midsize businesses have long represented a critical segment for Hyatt hotels and the broader global business travel market,” said Alice Harrington-Caravello, Hyatt’s senior vice president of global sales and Americas commercial services. “Today’s travelers want greater personalization, collaboration and a seamless experience, and Hyatt Leverage makes booking and managing travel even easier through these new enhancements.”
One platform for travel

The commercial opportunity extends beyond room discounts. By combining bookings and administration, Hyatt is seeking to build relationships with businesses that want negotiated rates but may lack the resources to run complex corporate travel programs.
Leverage is now powered by Spotnana, a Travel-as-a-Service platform that supports the integrated booking experience, Hyatt said. Eligible clients can access preferred rates across Hyatt’s five brand portfolios, from Classics brands such as Hyatt Regency to Essentials brands such as Hyatt Studios, which is designed for extended stays.
Administrators and travelers also earn World of Hyatt points on eligible travel and can redeem them for free nights, suite upgrades and World of Hyatt FIND experiences.
Hyatt said thousands of clients worldwide use Leverage to book travel for their teams.
Stacy Slater, executive vice president of investor relations, capital markets and corporate strategy at Brixmor Property Group, said the platform offers “a compelling combination of discounted rates, global reach, and flexibility.”
Hasan Ehtisham, director of firm management at Quantbot Technologies LP, said it makes travel management easier, with more access and better value for employees globally.
To qualify, businesses must be legally organized in their country of origin, meet Hyatt’s small-or-midsize business criteria and achieve at least 50 actualized room nights a year, Hyatt said. Leverage cannot be used for bookings made through travel agencies, consortia or other online booking tools. Select existing clients have already moved to the redesigned platform. Businesses can contact a Hyatt representative or reapply for eligibility at hyatt.com/leverage.
The relaunch follows Hyatt’s third-quarter 2026 results. Comparable system-wide hotels RevPAR rose 7.2 percent from a year earlier, and the company raised its full-year RevPAR growth outlook to 5 percent to 5.5 percent, according to its third-quarter results. Its development pipeline reached about 158,000 rooms, up 12.1 percent.
