Home2 Suites by Hilton is now open in Ashburn, Virginia, part of the Washington, D.C., metro area. The 122-room hotel, developed by Peachtree Group, is the firm’s seventh property to open this year.
Peachtree’s hospitality division will operate the hotel, the company said in a statement. The hotel is across from One Loudoun, a mixed-use development with residences, more than 60 shops and 20 restaurants. It is within 10 miles of Dulles International Airport and includes a fitness center, 24/7 market and lounge.
Atlanta-based Peachtree is led by Managing Principal and CEO Greg Friedman, Managing Principal and CFO Jatin Desai and Principal Mitul Patel.
“Our relationship with Hilton is built on a shared focus on quality, consistency and long-term value,” said Patel. “Home2 Suites by Hilton Ashburn reflects our post-COVID development approach, benefiting from improved supply chain visibility and a stable construction environment that supports timely execution in markets with resilient demand and strong economic fundamentals.”
Ashburn, known as “Data Center Alley,” ranks among the world’s key technology hubs, with high fiber carrier density and a leading data center market, the statement said. Ongoing investment from major tech companies, including Alphabet’s $1 billion expansion of Google’s data center campuses, reinforces the market.
Peachtree Group provided a $130 million construction loan to Vastland Co. for its first VOCE Hotel & Residence in Nashville, Tennessee, with construction starting Dec. 8 and completion expected in fall 2027.
